The EASY version is cut along the long side of pieces of deer antlers with a length of 10 cm, 12 cm, 15 cm, 18 cm or 20 cm. At 4DOGS we have adopted the principle that when you buy a teether from us, you will always get exactly the piece you order. Size S will always be 10 cm, and not somewhere between 6 and 9 centimeters. Is it important? Of course! Deer antlers are very hard material and if you give your dog too small a piece, he may try to swallow it whole – and that could be dangerous for him! Half antlers in the EASY version are a proposal for dogs that have less jaw strength or simply quickly get bored with whole pieces of antlers. For dogs, the inner part of the antlers is most interesting. There is marrow there, which dogs are happy to eat. In easy halves, access to it will be much easier than in whole pieces. Therefore, dogs are more likely to devote time to such a chew. On the other hand, if your dog is a fierce rodent, such a teether may last him for a much shorter time than a full piece.
